L - Makeup artist often analyze a character, do research, and confer with the director to get the best creation.
I- a lot of extra work Required that your not necessarily going to get paid for.
L- Have a creative imagination and a strong visual sense.
I- it's really hard to always be on the spot creativley. Sometimes you get stuck so you have to practice somewhat at improving your creativity and originality if you want to survive in this business.
L- Be methodical and pay attention to detail
I- Detail is key, if you can't convince yourself that what your looking. At is real then how are you suppose to convince others?
L- You need to be 21 years of age to be considered for training for TV and film work. This training will take you a further year. FT2, however, trains junior freelance make-up artists for TV and film work from the age of 18 as long as they already have NVQ Level 2 in both Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.
I- 21? Not really. I've gotten work with films and I'm not even 18.

The Product
So far the product of my senior project has been graduating and receive my make-up license as a beauty and character makeup artist. I've gotten my make-up card from the big make-up companies in Southern California as well. The completion of the classes has been my biggest goal and I hope to go back and recieve my license for FX.
